§ 18.100A. Capital Improvement Master Plan (C.I.M.P.) for Water and Sewerage.

    Definitions:

    Capital Improvement Master Plan; C.I.M.P. for Water and Sewerage: The Capital Improvement Master Plan (C.I.M.P.) for Water and Sewerage is a plan proposed by the County Executive upon the recommendations of the Director of Public Works and adopted by the County Council pursuant to the provisions of section 22.405 of the Howard County Code. The plan indicates the capital improvements to the County's water supply systems and sewerage systems to be constructed during the next ten years in order to implement the housing and employment growth projections of the County's general plan and the master plan for water and sewerage adopted pursuant to the requirements of the Natural Resources Article of the Annotated Code of Maryland. The C.I.M.P. for Water and Sewerage includes the water and sewer projects included in the Howard County Capital Budget and Capital Program and Extended Capital Program.

    (b)

    Requirement to Prepare C.I.M.P. and Review It Annually: The Department of Public Works shall prepare the C.I.M.P. for Water and Sewerage pursuant to the provisions of section 22.405 of this Code. The Department shall review the plan annually and shall submit updates as appropriate for adoption by the County Council.
