§ 26.208. Conditions.

As a condition of the County's financial or in-kind assistance, the sponsor agrees to:

(a)

Make its programs available to developing commercial and industrial businesses;

(b)

Encourage and support minority-owned businesses and businesses owned by disabled or disadvantaged persons so that they may become independent and viable contributors to the County's economy;

(c)

Encourage development of businesses that will generate additional employment opportunities in Howard County;

(d)

Encourage participating businesses to seek appropriate training and education to enable them to succeed; and

(e)

Educate businesses to become aware of and utilize the resources provided by other government and community organizations.
