§ 3.900. Definitions.

Terms used in this subtitle have the meanings indicated.

(a)

Approving authority means the Health Officer for Howard County or the Health Officer's designee.

(b)

Individual potable water supply system means a single system of pipes, pumps, and tanks using a system of groundwater to supply only a single lot. An individual potable water supply system does not include a public community or nontransient, noncommunity water supply.
