§ 3.905. Storage equipment.
(a)
Storage Equipment Generally. Storage equipment shall be as follows:
(1)
All tanks shall be certified under Water Systems Council standards for size and pressure;
(2)
All tanks shall be coated or made of material to resist corrosion;
(3)
Hydropneumatic tanks shall have a working pressure rating in excess of the maximum system pressure, but not less than 75 psi;
(4)
All tanks shall be constructed of materials and coatings that are nontoxic; and
(5)
All tanks shall be provided with a means of draining.
(b)
Atmospheric Storage Tanks. Atmospheric storage tanks shall be provided with a cover as required in section 10.8.4. of the Howard County Plumbing Code.
